Ingredients
- USDA-recommended toasted white or wheat subroll Select corned beef brisket (slow-cooked, sliced, and seasoned)
- Cheese selection (Provolone, Monterey Jack, Swiss, Cheddar, or none at all)
- Fresh topping options include lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, and peppers.
- Selection of condiments (such as ranch, hot sauce, oil and vinegar, mustard, mayo, etc.)

Recipe
- Give the roll two minutes to toast.
- With the hinge still in place, cut the sub roll lengthwise.
- Toast open-faced for 1 to 2 minutes at 350°F (175°C) in a sandwich press or oven until golden and just beginning to crisp.
- For two to three minutes, preheat the corned beef brisket.
- Sliced USDA Choice corned beef can be warmed in a microwave-safe container or on a flat-top grill.
- Heat for around one and a half to two minutes until heated through (aim for an internal temperature of about 165°F).
- Add the fresh toppings and condiments and assemble (2–3 minutes)
- Put the melted cheese and warm corned meat on top of the bottom roll.
- Add the fresh vegetables (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and peppers) that you like.
- Spread or drizzle certain condiments.
- Complete and serve in one minute.
- Close the roll gently.
- Cut in half if you’d like.
- Serve hot and melty right away.
