Recipe Instructions
1. Toast the Sub Roll
- Preheat a sandwich press or oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the sub roll lengthwise, keeping it connected at the back.
- Toast the roll open-faced for 1.5 to 2 minutes until warm and lightly crisp.
2. Warm the Turkey + Melt the Cheese
- Place sliced smoked turkey breast on a clean pan or sandwich press.
- Heat for about 1–1.5 minutes, just until warm (don’t dry it out).
- Lay cheese slices on top of the turkey. Cover or close press lid to melt for 30–45 seconds.
3. Assemble the Sub
- Place the warm turkey and melted cheese onto the toasted bottom half of the sub roll.
